It was on a snow day.
Oh and, it's an actual tattoo.

This is absolutely amazing. Such minor details in the photo :3 I really like that tattoo. Though i havn't found True love yet, i can still grasp the emotion your portraying here in this photo.

Very well done my friend. Keep up the good work! Great photographer~

Hello! I'll reply to your note here, since i'm a lazy person on internet :p

My vision of this photograph? Well, i'm not sure, I wanted it to be perceived in different ways by different people, some people see it as a religious love photograph, others as a message of faith and hope, others as a simple message of love from one person to another. I just basically wanted to take a picture that went around the concept of neverending love :)

I don't know if you did this intentionally, but I think the photo signifies true love in marriage (maybe because of the cross at the center) despite small details of imperfection (which to me, made it look natural and all in all, better).

I'm confused myself on why I interpreted it that way. I'm not a Catholic and I'm not even married. :XD: Anyway, that's just my opinion. I like the photo because it can be interpreted in many ways, depending on the viewer. ♥

My favorite part of this is the shadow on the left knee (I mean it is the model's left knee, but in the photo it is at the bottom right corner.) I think it is the shadow of the cigarette, and somehow it forms a cross. I know that is a weird thing to notice, but it's a subtle detail that adds a lot of depth to the picture for me.

You've got that tattooed?! Or the person has, rather?

I think it's interesting... although upside down, for me, then again, it depends on how you perceive it... the words, I mean. If I were to life it to my face, it would be upside down.

I find it interesting how you've shot this with the person's legs and all. At first, I thought it was something else, but.. yeah.

Great contrast.

It's not my tattoo, the only tattoo I have is the heartagram on my right wrist :)

Thanks for the thoughts, it is kinda interesting how it was tattoed, I never noticed the hole upside down thing, I think that might be the photo because when she's sitting down or something I can see her tattoo right side which would mean if she put it up to her eyes it would be readable, well anyway I don't know she's sleeping right now so I can't test my theory xD

But thanks

Very pretty photograph. :) Both fragile and rugged, innocent and alternative. It's an impressive contrast.

A beautiful quote Steve.

Actually no, I don't know if I told you laure is over here in the US right now, so this is a recent photo of her, well of her wrists and legs :XD: and i've been meaning to send you a note asking how things have been going on your side..

Wonderful! I am so happy that the two of you could be back together.

The quote is from John 15. It was the combination of the tattoo and crucifix that brought it to mind.

9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
