This as absolutely beautiful. I love how all of the colors match in this piece. There are a few things I would have done differently. for one, I may have tried shot on a landscape as opposed to portrait. Allowed some space for the door frame, since it being slanted due to angel distortion. If chosen to keep it this way, I would have then stepped back to eliminate the doors corner from being cut off. I also would have opened the second door a tad more, the model seems cramped and confined. By opening the door, you get get rid of the small corner of the sheet that is cut off, you widen space in the direction of the stare and it doesn't look like it just stops at the door. As for the placement of the model... I may have had her stand slighting be hind the door more inline with the window since it appears her gaze should is would be out that window. Over all, it is a fantastic portrait! You are a magnificent photographer, and I wish I had your skills with portraits haha.
The Artist thought this was FAIR
2 out of 2 deviants thought this was fair.
Reminds me of THE GIRL THAT PLAYED WITH FIRE; before Lisbet ordered some IKEA furniture to furnish her flat. A good piece with lots of interpretations. Your model has better hair than Lisbet Salander.
I think that shelf on the left is pretty distracting from the photo. Otherwise, I really like the photo.[:
Gosh, Nina, but that is one gorgeous coffee cup.
